Wilshire Place is pleased to present its board of directors for 2010. Please see the board page for a complete listing.

Board Meetings

Board meetings take place the 3rd TUESDAY of each month at 7:00pm at Covenant Chapel Church on 133rd Street. All homeowners are welcome. Please contact a member of the board to confirm.

Neighborhood Alert Phone System
Wilshire Place has enrolled in the Leawood Police's Neighborhood Alert Telephone System, an automated calling sytem that can deliver phone alerts to homeowners. The first call will be sent the w/o 11/3 and will provide information for homeowners that wish to opt-out of the system.

Garage Sale Weekend

Thursday, September 16th, 2010 - Saturday, September 18th, 8am-2pm each day

Please let me know if you are available to help with one or some of the following items: - Choosing & scheduling a post sale donation pickup service - Placing an ad in the Kansas City Star (online & print) - Placing & maintaining a Craigslist.org ad - Helping to set up neighborhood entrance signs the day before the sale - Removing & storing signs after the sale. Children's Halloween Party

Saturday, October 23rd, 2010 2-4pm @ the Tennis Court

The Wilshire Place Childrens Halloween Party is scheduled for Saturday Oct 23, 2-4PM. In order to make this party a success we need the help of many of our neighbors. Last year's party was very successful due to the large number of volunteers that we had. We need volunteers to help with the various games. We also would love to have a couple of volunteers to do face painting on the kids. Last year we had both adults and teenagers/preteens volunteer and I think the kids enjoyed the diversity. So if you would like to volunteer or know someone (a teenager/preteen) who would like to volunteer, please email us at sandy_b_h@hotmail.com Also, if you have any ideas for games, activities, etc please email us as well.
